Search warrant executed at West Kelowna home after business threatened

One person has been arrested

After an individual threatened to cause harm to employees at a local business, RCMP took action to ensure the safety of the staff and public.

West Kelowna RCMP and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence located in the Westview Village Mobile Home Park along the 1100 block of Highway 97, on Tuesday morning (April 16).

“The search warrant has since been executed and one individual was taken into custody,” said Cpl. l Michael Gauthier.

Details of this incident or what business the individual was threatening are not being disclosed as the investigation is still ongoing.
