Structure fire on Penticton’s Power Street under investigation

An investigation is underway into an early morning structure fire on Penticton’s Power Street.

The Penticton Fire Department was called to the scene shortly after 3:45 a.m. on May 24

Crews were able to contain the fire to an outbuilding and some surrounding bushes.

Several cedar trees were also nearby, and assistant fire chief Rob Trupp said that no injuries and no damage was reported to any adjacent buildings.

The fire remains under investigation.
