The CP Rail Holiday train is on its way to the Shuswap on Wednesday.
The first stop is in Sicamous at 5:30 p.m. at the Silver Sand Road intersection, east of the draw bridge, Dec. 14.
Then it’s on to Canoe at 7 p.m. at the 50th Street Railway Crossing. The train makes its third stop in Salmon Arm at the Lordco parking lot, 51 Lakeshore Dr. at 7:45, before its final stop in the Shuswap at the Notch Hill railway crossing, 1639 Notch Hill Rd., at 9:20 p.m.
Dallas Smith and Odds will be performing at each location.
Following road closures include:
• Canoe Beach Drive from 4600 Canoe Beach Dr. to 52nd Street NE and 50th Street NE from 72nd Avenue NE to Canoe.
• Beach Drive from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
• Lakeshore Drive NW from Shuswap Street to Hudson Avenue from 7 to 9.
• For Canoe residents there will be no access to 75 Avenue NE from 7 to 7:30 p.m.
