Wildfire ignited near Shuswap’s Cinnemousun Narrows Provincial Park

A wildfire is burning south of Cinnemousun Narrows Provincial Park in the Shuswap.

The Aline Hill fire was discovered around 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 18.

As of Friday morning, May 19, the blaze was spot-sized – less than one hectare – and classified as out of control. BC Wildfire Service said an initial attack crew was on scene.

The cause of the fire was unknown.
