Bruce was born in Olds, AB on September 1, 1971 to proud parents Gary and Heather Anderson. He passed away in Kelowna, BC on October 26, 2021 at the age of 50 years.
Bruce moved with his family to Salmon Arm in September 1972 and attended school here, enjoying bowling (the Tiger Cats!) and playing baseball and soccer.
In his late teens he went to work, learning drywall and roofing. In his early 20's he moved to northern Alberta, working in the oil fields as an apprentice welder and pipefitter for many years.
He leaves behind his loving dad, Gary and stepmother, Val, as well as his mother, Heather Golhovits in Summerland, his brother and best friend Richard, loving stepsister Sharon Langlois and her husband Terry and their children, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bruce struggled with addiction and mental health issues for many years. He was finally receiving the help he needed and was optimistic about the future. He is at peace now.
Bruce had a big heart, always ready to help anyone who needed it. He made friends easily and enjoyed being around other people.
He will be remembered for his sense of humour and infectious laugh. Bruce, you will be missed.
