Cecile died of cancer in Salmon Arm last week at the age of 81.
After the death of her husband, Werner in 2013, Cecile moved to Salmon Arm to be with her daughter Pamela. She frequently commented on how nice people are in Salmon Arm. She enjoyed talking to new people, eating lunch at the senior's centre, exploring Salmon Arm on foot and by bus, and having friends over for a meal.
Cecile is survived by daughter Pamela in Salmon Arm and by daughter Sarah, son-in-law Grant and granddaughter Katherine in New Zealand. She has four surviving siblings: Jost and Rudy in Canada, and Franz and Marta in Switzerland, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. She was much loved and will be missed.
The funeral will be held at Bowers Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 16. No flowers please.
