Cindy Ann Howes passed away on January 21, 2020 after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the Kelowna General Hospital. Cindy grew up in southern Saskatchewan and attended school at NAIT for drafting.
In 1987, she moved to Salmon Arm where she married David Howes, and raised two children, Devan and Rebecca. Cindy was very proud of the many homes she designed that were built in the Shuswap area.
Cindy's passions included gardening, cooking, and giving back to the community which eventually led her to joining the Daybreak Rotary Club. Entertaining family and friends was also Cindy's passion and joy as she loved hosting and celebrating those around her. She always had a hug to give and the time to catch up and have a chat over a cup of coffee or a warm meal.
A celebration of life will be held in Salmon Arm on the weekend of June 13-14, 2020. More information to follow closer to the date.
