It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Del Wowk.
Del passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm. BC. with his wife Bev & son Delmer by his side.
Del was born in Lamont, Alberta and moved from Edmonton to the Shuswap in July 1993. Boating & Hot Rod’s were his passion. He was also a member of the Drifters Car Club.
Del was predeceased by his mother Mary, father Walter and his sister Joyce.
He is survived by his sisters Kay (Ted) Huene, Lucy Pavan, Judy Wowk and sister-in-law Doreen Skoropata, numerous nieces & nephews whom he loved dearly.
A big thank you to the nurses & doctor’s at SLGH and a special thank you to Dr. McKee and Dr. DeWet for their care & compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Oct 29th, 2016 from 11am to 2pm at Carlin Hall, 4051 Myers Frontage Road (Hwy 1), Tappen, B.C
Donations can be made to Shuswap Lake Hospital Foundation, Salmon Arm, The Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
