In Loving Memory ~
With great sadness the family of Don shares news of his passing. Don will be remembered for his kind heart, love of nature and warm smile.
He is survived by his daughters Deanna and Crista; his siblings Lynn, Jim and Dianne; his mother Mabel and many other family and friends he cared for deeply.
Don was passionate about sports, playing ball and bowling in his younger years. Crista remembers her father as a softball coach, always eager to teach, push harder and share strategy with patience.
An avid fisherman, Don spent much time outdoors, often at White Lake. Deanna remembers walks in the forest, where dad taught the names of trees and tracks they came upon. Spotting an animal before he did was a great accomplishment! Don was never too busy to stop and say hi, exchange a story, talk sports or debate the latest news.
A gathering of remembrance in the spring will be announced in local papers and social media.
