DOROTHY MILDRED REEDMAN (nee JONES)
Dorothy passed away October 10, 2011 in Kamloops, BC, at the age of 95 years, with her loving daughter by her side.
Dorothy was born the middle child on November 2, 1915 in Salmon Arm, BC to parents Frank and Mildred Jones of Canoe, BC. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Monty Jones and sister Eileen Hooker from Salmon Arm. Dorothy was also predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Lenard Reedman and leaves behind five children; Lenore (Dave), of Salmon Arm; Norman (Evelyn) of Ontario; Joan (Larry) of Kamloops; Diane(Tom) of California; and Brian (Nona) of Salmon Arm.
Dorothy was very active in the Blind Bay community until Len’s death when she moved into Salmon Arm. She loved sewing, swimming and children. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed.
A Memorial Tea will be held at the Mountainside Room of Bowers Funeral Home in Salmon Arm, Friday October 21, 2011 at 1:30 pm.
