Elise Imelda Balsom (Sulphur, nee Noel)

December 26, 1934 - June 27, 2019
Elise passed away June 27, 2019 at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her husbands Webb and Lin, daughter Barb Sulphur, son Michael Sulphur. She is survived by her son Terry (Karen), Chris (Cathy), Pat Gervais (Lynne), grand children Kyle and Tyler Sulphur, Sarah and Jacob Starnyski, Ryan and Alyson Stuart, Amy Lewis, Kerry Berman, Saya Dunn, great grandchildren Liam Isabella, Owen and Jace as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Webb and Elise met in Haileybury, ON where Elise was studying nursing. They later moved to Blind River, where they raised their family. Elise practiced nursing at Blind River Hospital and they owned Sylvia's Grocery for many years. Webb and Elise eventually moved west to BC. Webb passed away in 1993 and she later married Lin Balsom who passed away June 4, 2012.
A Celebration of Elise's life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10 am at Crossroads Free Methodist Church with Rev. George Fleming officiating.
