Gladys Elinor Greaves passed away peacefully in Arbor House, Salmon Arm, BC in the early hours of Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the age of 91 years.

A celebration of life service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Saturday morning, April 12th at 10:00 a.m. with Jack and Capreece Bowers officiating. Tributes with a DVD presentation were shared by the family.

Interment followed in the family plot at Mt. Ida Cemetery. Pallbearers were David & Dean Edwards, Dave Belway Jr., Tom & Shawn Edwards and Ryan Adams

Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan on September 24, 1916, Gladys had been a resident of the Shuswap since 1948. She is well remembered for her love and dedication to her family, keeping her home in spotless condition.

She is survived her loving family, husband of 73 years, Les; daughters, Linda (Dave) Belway of Salmon Arm and Shirley Edwards of Coquitlam; son, Gary of Kamloops; seven grandchildren, Karen, Barb, Debbie, Dave, Bruce, David and Dean; 10 great grandchildren, Chelsey, Ryan, Eve, Tate, Kayla, Justin, Maya, Callie, Tom and Shawn; and one great-great granddaughter, Aurora.
