We are sad to announce the passing of Henrietta Waring on February 6, 2019. Yetty was predeceased by her husband James Gregory Waring. Oma will be missed by her three sons: Brian (Barbara), John (Janet), and Jeffey (Pam). As well as her 7 grandchildren: Maria, Steven, Michele, Jenny, Richard, Sydney and Taylor and her great grandsons Max and Sam. Yetty was born In Nijmegen, Holland and had a perilous childhood in WW2 Amsterdam. After the war her family moved to Fruitvale, BC. There she added her fourth language; English, and went to work for the West Kootenay Power Company. Soon she met James and got married. Over the next 7 years she had three boys and moved to Vancouver, BC. She then worked for the Royal Bank and then became a comptroller for the Hudson's Bay Company. She loved being a Kinette, as well as lawn bowling, cards , design, gardening and enjoying nature. In 1990 she and Jim moved to Salmon Arm. Oma loved to show her grandchildren the insects, birds and flowers in her garden.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mt. Ida Mews and Dr. Carnegie for the wonderful care Yetty received.
