Dad moved to Blind Bay at the age of 18 to work for his brother Don in his orchard, ran cat building roads on Squilax Mountain and then went to work for Ron Brown Ltd in Armstrong doing plumbing and electrical work. Dad partnered with Gavin Paterson and formed Sorrento Plumbing and Electric working until his retirement at the age of 65.

He was a proud member of the RCMP Auxillary force from 1964-1983 and was Search Leader for the Provincial Emergency Program. Dad loved a good ballgame and watching his grandchildren participate in sports. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in all accomplishments.

There will be no service by request. Our family would like to thank the nurses on the 4th floor of SLGH for their kind and compassionate care of dad.

We love you dad, rest easy. The back 40 is done.
