In Loving Memory ~
Born in Loon Lake, SK to Dorothy & Archie Stilwell, Laura spent her early years growing up in Ninette, MB with her three sisters Joan, Lois and Betty. In 1974 Laura moved to her favourite place to live, Salmon Arm, where she raised three children and worked at the Royal Bank.
Laura volunteered at the 5th Avenue Senior's Centre and Shuswap Lake Hospital Auxiliary. She loved singing in the United Church choir and Shuswap Singers.
In her later years, she made numerous afghans and donated all her earnings from selling them to the Kidney Foundation. Her hobbies were playing the piano and square dancing with her husband Dennis.
Laura is survived by her husband Dennis, her daughters Lori (Warren), Sandy (Ray) and Nicole (Darren) and her grandchildren Brady, Bryton, Jordan, Jessica, Taylor and Traiton.
Family gathering to be held in the Spring. Donations in memory of Laura may be made to the Kidney Foundation of BC.
