The entire Sherwood family is very saddened by the sudden passing of their father Leslie Edward Stanley Sherwood at the age of 80 at Shuswap Lake Hospital on Friday, Sept 23 at 11:30 am.
Dad was born in Slocan BC on June 8, 1931 and was pre-deceased by his wife of 57 years, Gwendolyn. Dad is survived by children Wanda (Greg), Bill (Laura), Sandra (Barry), Glenn (Marlee), Brett (Christine) and Patrick. He will also be missed by grandshildren Aaron, Leona, Patrick, Ryan, Jarrett, Christopher, Brian, Kaitlin, DJ, Amy, Christopher and Alex as well as several great-grandchildren.
Dad will always be remembered for his unique sense of humour and his passion for the outdoors. An avid hunter, fisherman and photographer for most of his life Dad was more than willing to share his stories and knowledge with everyone.
Dad - you will be missed.
