It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Edward Dudley Agassiz.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep with family by his side. We are happy for him that he is at peace, and is together again with his wife and our Mother, Audrey Marie Agassiz (pre-deceased Sept 19th 2002 ).
Dad was born in Tacoma Washington, he and his family lived there for a few years before moving back to Vancouver, BC. He also spent some time in Kelowna before serving in the Navy during WW11. Dad worked as a Health inspector with the Boundary Health Unit in Cloverdale BC until he retired. They lived in Aldergrove for most of their retired years where he spent endless hours in the garden.
His passion was the outdoors, whether it was in the garden, hunting or fishing, he absolutely loved fishing!
Hope you catch the big one that got away... You will be dearly missed.
