In Loving Memory (1931-2024) ~
With many tears, we announce Marjorie Herchak passed on February 13, 2024, in St. Albert, Alberta.
Born 1931 to Jacob and Katherine Myslitsky in Hamilton, she lived in Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Calgary, Winfield, Vernon, Blind Bay, and Kamloops (BC), and recently in St. Albert (AB) with her beloved husband, Ed.
She was an active member of the Canadian Federation of Artists, and she co-founded and was involved with painting groups in Kamloops and the Shuswap.
She is survived by her children: Jim (Lenore) and Dianne (Kelly) and their niece Chelsea; grandchildren: Andrew, Nicky and Cody; great-grandchildren: Keenan, Asher, Micah, Luca and Mia; and will be remembered by nieces and nephews, in-laws, friends, and fellow painters.
A Memorial Service celebrating Marjorie's life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm in St. Albert Funeral Chapel, 9 Muir Dr, St. Albert, AB.
