Philip "Norman" Pierce passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 82 in Salmon Arm, BC. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanene, his son Mark (Corine) Pierce, his daughter Dina (Daniel) Vann, grandchildren, Megan (Kevin) Mclean, Erin (Danny) Bryant, Lauren Pierce (Ryan Ouellette), Alyssa Vann (Dustin Hutchinson), and great grandchildren, Brantley, Adison, Lathan & Avery. "Norm" was born in Dublin Ireland and came to Canada at the age of 16 and took up residence in North Vancouver where he owned and operated a Home Service Station. Norm, his wife and children moved to Salmon Arm in 1974 where he
worked at the Co-op Plywood plant until he retired. He loved horses and spent many hours riding, taking grooms and brides for carriage rides on their special day and taking part in the local parade with either in his horses and carriage, tractor or antique cars. He would spend his weekends helping family and friends with household projects or fixing vehicles. He was also a member of the local Pioneer Tractor Club. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends. As per his wishes no service will be held.
