Rick passed away peacefully at Shuswap Lake General Hospital with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife Jean, sons Corey (Melanie), Joe (Nikki) and grandchildren; Taylor, Brianna, Haille, Kira and Ava. Sister; Marlene Hogarth (Tim), brother; Bob Howard (June) and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. James Levins and the staff at Shuswap Lake General Hospital for their care.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
