Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at Langley Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan to Arthur and Viola Millar, he lived for over a decade in the Salmon Arm area before moving to Langley where he lived for the past 46 years.

Bob's wife, Beverley, passed away in 2005.  The family have fond memories of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, stories of winters in Palm Springs, their trip up the Alaska Highway, and numerous trips to Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island where they enjoyed fishing with family and friends.

He was a passionate man who enjoyed working with people. Bob began working in the automotive repair industry and in 1970, he made a career change to the RV Business.  Upon retirement in 1991, he could not stay away from the job he loved.

Over the next 15 years until Holiday Rentals closed in 2006, you could find Bob selling units, helping customers, working at the RV Shows, doing mechanical jobs and just enjoying life.

Bob was a big fan of both the Vancouver Canucks and the B.C. Lions. He was an avid golfer, a staunch member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and never missed an opportunity to go to the car races south of the border with his brother.

A special thank you to Magnolia Gardens and Langley Memorial Hospital for their loving care and support.  Also thank you to Alternatives Funeral Home for assisting with the arrangements.

At his request, he did not want a service.  Those who so desire may make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in his memory - heartandstroke.ca.
