Robert Garrett Kerr passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the age of 76 years, beloved husband of Dale Kerr. He also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Shaun (Tina) Kerr of Winnipeg, Tara (Wally) Whitelaw of Mississauga and Rob Kerr of Toronto; two grandchildren, Holly and Erin Whitelaw both of Mississauga; one brother Geoffrey Kerr of Airdrie; two sisters, Josephine Kerr of Tsawwassen and Stephanie Kerr (Alex Bulzan) of Toronto; two nieces Pamela Pigden of Vancouver and Natalie Kerr Bulzan of Toronto; three nephews, Brit Kerr (Lee Ann) of Calgary, Jo-T Kerr of Vancouver and Theo Kerr Bulzan of Toronto and numerous great-nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Florence and Joseph Kerr and his nephew Garrett Pigden.

Born in Sudbury, Bob soon followed his mining engineer father and mother to South Africa where he started school and learned to speak Afrikaans. Later postings were Ransomville, New York, and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bob was most fond of his curling days in the Shuswap in B.C. and was an active Lion there for several years.
