Roy Donald Johnston passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital on January 23, 2020. Roy was born in Monitor, Alberta March 22, 1933 to John and Lena Johnston. At the age of four, the family moved to a farm at Balmoral. Roy resided in the Balmoral area the rest of his life moving back to the family home in later years where he lived until his passing.
Roy is predeceased by his parents John and Lena Johnston and his daughter Mearl Blackman. Roy is survived by his two sons, Edward (Joanne), George (Janice) and son in law Jason Blackman, grandchildren Kyra Johnston, Krista and Sarah Johnston, Bryce, Sharann and Audrey Blackman.
There will be no service at Roy's request.
