Stewart Dale MacLeod

Stewart Dale MacLeod passed away January 8, 2023. Stew was born March 31, 1955, in Edmonton, Alberta to Chris and Gladys MacLeod; he was the youngest of five children.
In his early 20s, Stew spent a couple of summers in the Shuswap and left the big city to move to Salmon Arm in 1977. He was hired on at Federated Co-op in July of 1977. Stew enjoyed curling, slow-pitch, and golf, as well as hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his time camping and fishing for Kokanee in the Revelstoke area. Stew was a diehard Edmonton Elks fan and enjoyed watching football and golf on TV.
Stew was predeceased by his parents, Chris and Gladys, and sister, Beverly.
He is survived by his son Jared (Erin) and grandsons, Lachlan and Owen; daughter Kenna; brother Terry; sister Bonnie; and nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank Bob and Debbie for being such great friends to Stew over the years, especially the support and kindness over the past few years.
A Celebration of Life will take place on March 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Service Chapel with reception to follow.
