Thelma Mary Browne passed away peacefully, following a short illness, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on Monday, December 10, 2007 at the age of 77 years.
Thelma was born at Prince George, BC on April 5, 1930 and was raised in Victoria, BC. She was married and moved with her children to Salmon Arm in 1961 and had resided in Sorrento for the past 25 years.
Thelma will be lovingly remembered by her life companion, George Henry; five children; Greg and Wendy Browne, Janice and Maurice Roy, Kim and Brian Howe, Teresa and Verne Wren, Bruce and Kim Browne; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Thomson and Claire and Ron Oberg; and George’s three children, Wesley “Wes”, Robert “Bob”, Donna and their families.
A funeral service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on Wednesday, December 12 at 3:00 pm with Jack Bowers officiating.
