Vera passed away peacefully at her home in the Piccadilly Care Centre with her family by her side.

When John retired in 1981 they moved to Salmon Arm where they enjoyed golfing, camping and exploring the back roads of the area. Vera loved the spring with all the newborn calves and lambs in the fields.
