Virginia May Cooper (nee Kellar) passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 8, 2015 in Armstrong, BC at the age of 95 years.
Born in India to parents Johanna and Carlton Kellar on January 8, 1920.
Virginia married Charles Cooper on December 14, 1941 in California, USA. Together they had two daughters - Kathleen and Carolynn.
Virginia was extremely talented and expressed her love for art through her oil painting, cooking, and needlework.
Virginia will be forever loved and sadly missed by her family - Kathleen & Roger McEwan of Ontario and Carolynn & Doug Kantymir of Armstrong; two grandchildren - Joshua (Desrie) Kantymir of Kelowna and Jessica (Ben) Stevens of Stewart, BC., great grandchildren - Cali, Alyssa, Matthew and Sarah. A service celebrating Virginia’s life will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 2pm at Bowers Funeral Chapel with Pastor Malcolm Pedler officiating.
A reception will follow the service in the Mountainside Room, allowing friends and family to continue sharing memories.
