Vivian Anne Williams passed away in Shuswap Lake General Hospital on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 74 years.
The funeral was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on Wednesday afternoon, June 20th at 1 p.m. with Jack Bowers the Celebrant, assisted by Mark Fromme. Tributes and memories were shared by family and friends, led by Joan Arnouse.
Born in Squilax on July 10, 1943. Vivian spent her life assisting her family and friends, specializing in the customs of her First Nation culture. This included teaching her language at schools, and for year working at the Day Care in Squilax. For several years her and Peter lived in Creston, BC.
She was predeceased by three children, Stewart, Stanley Ralph, Thelma Martha. Vivian leaves her loving husband, Pete J, sons, Terry Simon, Eric Baker, Russell Dominic, and Philip; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her brother, Vincent.
A feast followed at the family residence.
