Walter James "Wally" Gaze passed away in Shuswap Lake General Hospital on September 5, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
The Family held a visitation at his home at Pierres Point on Thursday evening with a family service at Bowers Funeral Chapel Friday noon. A Graveside service was held on the lower Reserve Cemetery Friday at 1 pm with Marc Fromme officiating.
Born in Salmon Arm, BC on July 16, 1943, Wally has lived his life in the Shuswap. He is well remembered for his love of travel, including Mexico and California, as well of years as maintenance work with the Adams Lake Band.
Predeceased by his wife, Margaret, sons, Trevor and Walter Jr, step daughter, Donna William, granddaughter Belinda Eugene.
Wally leaves his sisters, Betty Arnouse, Marge Eugene, Joann, Linda and Mona Gaze; many nieces and nephews.
