Born June 22, 1925 in Hanna, Alberta. Passed away at the Penticton Regional Hospital on March 17, 2009 after a short illness. Bill worked for many years for the B.C. Government as a Civil Engineer and for the Greater Vancouver Regional District. He served in the Merchant Navy and R.C.N. during World War II. He leaves to to mourn his wife, Joy; sons, Russell (Linda) of Pitt Meadows, Adam (Deborah-Lea) of Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Victor (Sheri) of Salmon Arm; grandsons, Jonathon, Josef, Jordan, Cairo and Fynn; granddaughter, Sophie; Sister Deanne Poty as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Joyce and brother Arthur. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at St. Saviours Anglican Church, 150 Orchard Ave., Penticton. In his memory donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
