SmartCentres: one blunder after another

How dare they continue to press forward after ignoring and even ridiculing the findings of WA:TER

So the site on which SmartCentres is to be built has now been accepted by SmartCentres and council as being located in “An Environmentally Hazardous Floodplain Zone” and the majority of the council has approved a “New Environmentally Hazardous Area Development Permit.”

How dare they continue to press forward after ignoring and even ridiculing the findings of WA:TER that proved exactly what the council now accepts as correct.

They continue to blunder ahead rather than face the fact that in their hurry to bring any kind of development to town they made dreadful errors in judgment and refused to listen to reasonable arguments against this irrational development.

Recently, to add insult to injury, Mr. Hilderbrand has now compiled a list of candidates that he is urging his supporters to vote for in the upcoming election.

Does he now consider himself a campaign organizer? Will he be busing in and feeding his supporters on voting day as he did before the public meeting at the recreation centre?

Personally, I wonder how his chosen candidates can sleep at night after the mistakes they have made.
