Beavers are builders, and “dam” good at their job. But so are several others in Salmon Arm. The others, however, all need, and pay for, licences from the city.
When I read about the issue the council is dealing with on Christmas Island it reminded me (I’m not sure why) about the issue, a few years ago, with Miss Kitty.
Perhaps the current council should use the same approach as the council did then; charge them an exorbitant amount for a business licence and they will just go somewhere else.
