The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack closed out their 2013-14 PACWEST badminton season by hosting a tournament at the TRU gym Feb. 1 and 2.
Three Salmon Arm athletes were in the placings. Jade Peters (1st year) and Ali Hines from Kamloops captured first in the women’s doubles ‘C’ event. Joel Feenstra (1st year) wound up second in the ‘B’ flight.
In men’s doubles: Feenstra and Nathan McNeilly (1st year) wound up second in the ‘B’ flight.
The PACWEST championships will be held Feb. 26 to March 1 at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey.
