It was a big weekend for figure skating in Armstrong, one of the biggest events in the valley, as the Armstrong Enderby Skating Club hosted the 2024 Okanagan Region Championship.

The three-day event, held Feb. 9-11 at the Nor-Val Sports Centre, brought more than 315 skaters from 20 clubs, some from as far away as Quesnel and Clearwater.

There were 511 entries for all events in the competition, some skaters competing in multiple events.
