On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Midget Female Tier 1 team beat Kamloops 5 – 3 at Sunwave Centre.
Summer Jesperson has now joined the team after her return from Europe, and she made her presence known with the first two goals of the game, with assists going to Jenna Lazar and Hailey Silcocks. Goals 3 and 4 were scored by Maddison Turner, with assists going to Silcocks and Ali Roine. The fifth goal was scored by Silcocks, with Taylor Lund assisting.
At Sunday’s game in Rutland, the girls came up short with the Kelowna Bantam team beating them 4–3.
The first two goals for Salmon Arm came from Sarah Botter, with the assists going to Lannie Houle.
The third Salmon Arm goal went to Hailey Haskell, with Roine assisting.
