The Salmon Arm women’s recreational hockey league is set to start on Monday, Oct. 13. Teams will play two out of every three Mondays at the Shaw Centre. The first half of the season will run until Dec. 15, and the second half will start Jan. 5 and end March 9. Players sign up individually and are placed on a team based on skill level. All women aged 18 and over are invited to come out to play. The cost is dependent on the number of players that register, goalies play for free.
