Please tell me what is wrong with this picture?
It is now June 7 and the roads to the Skimikin landfill are swept and have been for weeks, with all potholes filled. Yet the community of Blind Bay, with 400o-plus taxpaying residents, still have dirty, dusty, unswept streets and numerous glaring potholes!
I wonder what would happen if next year’s taxpayers were to be as tardy paying their taxes, as the government and AIM Roads is with providing sweeping serviced – paid for by our taxes? They can totally rebuild the damaged Coquihalla in six months, but can’t get our streets swept by May 1st? Shame!
