Police are on the lookout for a vehicle connected to suspects involved in a Vancouver Island theft and are now believed to be targeting Salmon Arm businesses.

The vehicle is a 2022 grey Ford Explorer bearing the Quebec licence plate FSH7910.

Salmon Arm RCMP media liaison Const. Andrew Hodges said the vehicle had been “witnessed being occupied by suspects involved in a theft on Vancouver Island.”

“The suspects appear to be two males between 30-50 years old, and of Middle Eastern descent,” said Hodges in a March 14 media release. “The occupants appear to now be targeting Salmon Arm businesses, in particular electronics, cell phones, and possibly jewelry.”

Hodges asks anyone who may have seen the vehicle to contact their local police and advise of its location.

“Do not approach,” warned Hodges.

Salmon Arm RCMP can be reached at 250-832-6044.
