Please be advised that due to continued drought conditions, low lake level and high demand on the City’s water supply, Stage 3 water restrictions are now in effect. This allows outdoor water use only 1 day per week based on your address. Should drought conditions and high demand persist, further restrictions will be applied.

PUBLIC NOTICE is given to the electors within Electoral Area C, D, E, F and G of the Columbia Shuswap Regional District and the District of Sicamous, that assent voting will be held on the following question:

The City of Salmon Arm is seeking four (4) Citizens-At-Large, including one (1) member from the mobility aid community and one (1) senior citizen, with professional or personal interest in Active Transportation to join the Active Transportation Advisory Committee for a term of two (2) years, with an anticipated commencement of September 1, 2023.

The City of Salmon Arm is seeking an organization or individual from the Agricultural Industry with interest respecting environmental issues to join the Environmental Advisory Committee for a two (2) year term ending May 31, 2025.

The City of Salmon Arm is seeking eight (8) representatives of the agricultural community to join the Agricultural Advisory Committee for a three (3) year term commencing July 1, 2023.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salmon Arm will hold a Public Hearing virtually and in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 500 – 2 Avenue NE, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
